Doctors appointment

I had a doctor's appointment this morning, and as usual, I arrived very early to avoid the traffic on Highway C-470, the belt road around Denver. And as I said before, there's no real difference between sitting in the camper in my daughter's driveway and sitting in the VA clinic parking lot; I'm at home either way.

The doctor poked around and checked me out, reviewing the results of my recent blood tests, and everything was fine. I don't recall all the specific items the blood test tested for, but there were 10 or 12 on the list, and everything was in the right place. I now have an appointment for a hearing test sometime in July, and I will likely have an eye appointment around the same time. They're going to call me and let me know.

I bought a new propane regulator to go in the Arctic Fox since the one that's in it is the original, which is getting old, but for some strange reason, I couldn't get the new regulator to work; it appeared that I couldn't get propane out of the regulator and into the Fox. For a while I thought that the automatic shut off on the propane tank had stopped the flow of propane out of the tank, but I reset it a couple times and it still didn't work so I got a another tank out of the truck, and hooked that up, but still no propane into the trailer.

I'm no expert on such things, but it appeared to me that the brand-new Chinese propane regulator was not functioning properly, so I ordered a new one. Hopefully, I'll have better luck with that one.
