I need some R&R. ~ 4 comments
It sure is hot, getting into the mid-90s most days, and because of all the clouds, even the humidity is letting us down at 30% and 40%... Which is no Miami, Florida, of course, but around here we call that muggy.
I'm still fooling around with wires in the camper, and I haven't blown anything up yet....so there's that. It's amazing to me that, as tiny as this camper is, I still manage to misplace and lose things all the time. None of the things I'm working on ever leave the camper, but I still manage to lose them and often spend more time looking for stuff than I do using it.
What I need is a trip out to Pete's to get some cool weather, something to take pictures of, and just some general R&R. Thanks to my one-track mind, all I can think of is getting the camper back together and working like normal, and even if that's not the most important thing in the world, my one-track mind won't let me think about anything else.
I forgot to mention that I have an appointment at the VA to have my hearing aid fitted about the middle of next month. They need to find out if my ear trumpet will fit in the camper or not. Since all the VA ear trumpets are custom-made, I'm hoping they will keep them short enough that I can close the camper door. I would find it rather embarrassing if I had to drive down the road with my camper door open and my ear trumpet being held in place with jackstraps and bungee cords.
