Laziness and procrastination.

The weather feels more like Summer than Spring: mid-80s during the day, 50s at night. It's tolerable, but it concerns me how hot the Summer is going to be if this kind of weather continues.

I need to get a lot of things done this summer, but so far I haven't done anything useful. I tell myself it's because I am trying to get into a groove, relate to my space, and determine the flow, so I can go with it, but truth be told, it's probably just laziness and procrastination.

It could be that I've got so many things to do that I could spend the rest of the summer figuring out which one I need to do first. But there are two things that can't be put off, or my lifestyle as a full-timer will come to a painful, rapid end. I have to get my truck emissions checked before the end of July, or my truck will no longer be registered, and my highly recognizable tag will be no more. I also absolutely must get my driver's license renewed in September, or I will be forced to hire a chauffeur to drive me around to all my favorite boondocking spots in my travels.

I was concerned about turning 80 in September and how that would affect my ability to renew my driver's license, but apparently, it's no big deal; I can even do it online if I have a paper from any kind of eye doctor certifying that my vision meets whatever standards the government requires, and is no more than six months old. And since my distance vision is 2020 since my cataract operations, that shouldn't be a problem.

There’s no competition going on. This is simply a way for parents to watch their kids play different sports. In this case, it's my granddaughter.

My grandson is shooting a basketball.

I wonder if these three girls are related in some way?
