Arizona weather problems.

I watched several videos of the floods in Arizona, and they made me a bit concerned about what I might face. The flooding was caused by these small hurricanes that were lined up in South America and slowly made their way up the coast until they turned inland and started hitting Arizona with fairly heavy winds and a tremendous amount of rain.

I had already seen flooding in New Mexico from these small storms, and in Las Vegas, Nevada, again from these small storms coming up the coast and then turning inland. It seems to me this could be a common storm track this winter, which could make Arizona an inhospitable place for me. But even if that's the case, I really have nowhere else to go. The whole southwestern part of the country is predicted to have a colder, wetter winter because of the nasty, annoying El Niño. Now, maybe it's just a coincidence that these storms are hitting Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Maybe that will change, or it could conceivably get worse.

Right now, I'm paying close attention to the Future weather forecasts, especially the weather in that sliver of land in the southwest corner of Arizona called the Sonoran Desert that I mentioned yesterday. One little area, including Yuma, Quartzsite, and some other places, so far seems to be spared this wild and woolly weather. Who knows? Maybe my winter will be just running around the Sonoran Desert, and not much else.....Oh well, I can think of a lot worse places to be than the Sonoran Desert in the winter.
