Memories
With nothing better to do, I looked through some old pictures I took years ago and decided that since no one could possibly stand to read my blog for that long, I would show some pictures from when I was full-timing in the Arctic Fox, and the pictures are so old that most folks had either not seen them before or had forgotten they had seen them before.... I can relate to that.

My brand-spanking-new Arctic Fox 27-5L is sitting on the dealer's lot, waiting for me to haul it away. There's an old saying that your happiest two days are the day you buy your RV and the day you sell it, but I can honestly say I hated to sell the Arctic Fox. It was a wonderful fifth wheel and gave me many years of happiness... But my lifestyle had changed, and the Arctic Fox no longer fit.
One day, while boondocking at a casino parking lot in Tucson, Arizona, I heard about a nearby Indian powwow, so I drove over to see what was going on and ended up spending most of the day watching the Indians dance in the colorful costumes they all made by hand.
This would be a brave and fearsome warrior, counting plenty of coups, if only he could see anything. But right now, he can't tell the difference between a brigade of cavalry and his own tee pee.
A brief gust of wind would probably send this guy flying into the parking lot... But maybe that's what he's after.
This young lady must have spent half the day getting her hair to look like that…You can't tell from this picture, but the other end of her hair hangs down to her waist. My hair used to be almost that long, and it probably still is if I knew where it was.
Some tribes have become very modern in their thinking, with great and powerful warriors carrying the family papoose instead of a rifle.
I don't know what this young man's costume represents, but I don't think it’ll scare the enemy away or attract any girlfriends. But it might do the opposite.
I've always figured that in the 1800s, all the young men who headed west were looking for gold….. But maybe gold wasn't all they were looking for.
This old geezer is reportedly the first Indian to shoot General Custer in the butt with an arrow at the Little Bighorn.
