Unable to think of anything interesting to talk about today, I figured I would talk about something uninteresting, since there are far more uninteresting things going on in my life than interesting things.
1...The first uninteresting thing that comes to mind is: what's the difference between camping and full-timing? The answer to that seems uninteresting enough; camping means you're lying in the mud in a sleeping bag while mosquitoes eat you alive. And full-timing is living in an RV no bigger than your average-size clothes closet while boondocking in Walmart parking lots.
2… How long can you stay in a Walmart parking lot before they kick you out? This is a common, uninteresting question RVers ask themselves almost every day, but it takes a true professional full-timer like me to answer it. Find yourself a blue vest with "How may I help you?" written on the back, and wear it while walking around the store and the parking lot. This will thoroughly confuse the Walmart employees and security, so you can live in the parking lot as long as you like. If they get suspicious, which they won't, because half the employees at Walmart are living in their cars in the parking lot, just push a few empty carts from the parking lot back to the store every few days.
3… What makes a person become a full-timer? Uninteresting enough. There are as many reasons as there are people who live that way. But mostly it's because they're running from the law; they're in the FBI's witness protection program, or they owe alimony to three or four ex-wives.
4… Do you know what the very best RV is that would appeal to everyone and make all RVers happy? Yes, I do, but I'm not going to tell anyone because that might be interesting.
So there you have it: four of the most uninteresting things I can think of today. But there's always tomorrow, and there's no chance my life will get interesting anytime soon.
