The Dean of Dithering.
I got some good news yesterday when my youngest son texted me some pictures of the Cripple Creek property, where he had cut all the grass. This made me very happy to say the least, I have been worried about this for a while because the last thing I need in my life is problems with the Cripple Creek Police Department. But thanks to my son, that problem is over for another year. You would think I could find a better way of dealing with the situation than waiting for the cops to send me a love letter for lawn abuse...... but isn't that the very definition of my procrastination abilities? And am I not the Dean of dithering, the potentate of putting it off, and the dictator of delay?
And now for something different.
I think what I'm going to do about the inverter situation is make two separate inverter systems, one charged by the roof solar panels, and the other charged by the mobile panels in the yard. So I'm in the process of assembling all that, and I got more done over the weekend since I didn't have to help watch the kids. I've got the new battery all hooked up, and I'm using it; meanwhile, the BattleBorn batteries are mostly hooked up, but I'm still fooling around with the wiring.
It seems to me I'm putting the cart before the horse by building two inverter systems without determining what purpose they serve, other than redundancy. But a second inverter system is just lying here, waiting to be assembled, so maybe after I live with it for a while, its purpose may become apparent.

Just a tiny part of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. And the free wildlife area where I stay when I'm near the Sand Dunes National Park. And it's a good thing it's here because the campground at Sand Dunes National Park is usually booked up way into the future during the summer.

Boondocking at Pete's. I've bought and sold a lot of land, but this is the only land that I've ever truly loved.
