A lot to think about.
I've been giving considerable thought to my newfound inverter situation. It seems that I have inadvertently acquired a completely new inverter system, minus a few wires that would allow me to build a redundant system, which could either be used as a backup or a separate system for different electrical needs in the camper.
Looking back on it, my previous inverter system, which I designed and built, is a clue as to why I may need a backup system. I put that inverter system together with an old inverter, which quickly croaked and had to be replaced with one from Harbor Freight while I was in Deming, New Mexico, and anytime you're using Harbor Freight for electronic gear, you can be relatively sure things will go downhill from there. The wires I used were scraps of wire left over from previous solar builds on other campers, so none of them were correctly sized, but at least I tend to buy wires that are too big instead of too small
.So now I've got two complete inverter systems scattered in bits and pieces around the camper, and remember, not only do I have a 320 amp battery and a 400 amp battery bank, but I also have portable solar panels, separate from the roof solar panels, and two separate solar controllers, and all it needs is to be cobbled together. And to do that, I need to decide on what purpose it would serve, if any.
