Safely back to Denver.
It's great to be back with the family again. I had a real homemade breakfast this morning, which I hadn't had in six months, and I'm just about caught up with my laundry. Doing laundry at laundromats is very expensive and seems to be getting more expensive during my winter travels. So I try to carry enough clothes with me so I don't have to do laundry very often, and I save as much laundry as possible for when I get back to Denver.
Other than laundry and catching up with what's been going on while I've been gone, I haven't done anything useful, but I will have to get over my laziness and procrastination pretty soon, since I've got a lot of things to do, the first of which is to start making various doctor's appointments with the VA.
I've also got to order some stuff from Amazon, the most important of which is a fan blade for my roof vent, and I may need another inverter since my relatively inexpensive Harbor Freight inverter only seems to be working when it feels like it.... Yes, I understand how ironic that is coming from me, but since I'm the Boss, the Potentate, and the Grand Poobah of this full-timeing life, I get to choose who or what needs to be replaced.
Theboondork
Only about a mile from Fairplay, Colorado. Fairplay is the county seat of Park County, so I go there to pay my property tax on the forty acres I call “Pete's”.
I'm not sure what this place is, but it's on land that was a major railroad repair area, so it might have something to do with the trains, which I believe were narrow gauge.
My last night's sunset at the wildlife area, where I was boondocked for a couple of days.
