A Day of Relaxation.

Nothing is going on today. As usual, Sunday is a day of relaxation for me.... Actually, every day is a day of relaxation for me, but on Sunday, I put more thought and effort into it.

Relaxation is a hallmark of being a fulltimer. If you can't relax as a fulltimer, chances are relaxing just isn't part of your soul. Every once in a while, I run into full-timers who rush around everywhere, going hither and thither, always looking for something to do, apparently living in fear that having nothing to do is somehow a bad thing. I, on the other hand, relish having nothing to do, and even if there is something to do, I put it off until the need to do it slips quietly away.

I realize most people aren't that way, and it's a good thing because nothing would ever get done if they were, but fortunately for me, anything I put off doing isn't that important anyway, and no one cares or misses the fact that there's something out there that I didn't do. Best of all, the things I don't do don't bother me in the least,

One of the great things about getting old is that now it's even easier for me to forget not only the things I didn't do, but also the things I should do. I used to feel a twinge of guilt for forgetting things I should be doing, but now, with no effort at all, I'm able to forget things of great significance without any concern whatsoever.

I'm sorry, I just can't help it…. This thing looks like the front should be the back, and the back should be the front. Put it all together, and the whole thing looks like a dumpster from space.

My granddaughter.

This flower is growing in the garden, and I don't know what it is, but I assume it will have two large blooms. The plant has a weird, alien look to me, like an alien seed fell from space, bounced off the top of the camper, and is now growing in the yard close enough to me to sneak into the camper in the middle of the night and have me for a midnight snack..... Not likely, but not outside the realm of possibilities.
