Is living in Wickenburg a good way to lose weight?
I went for a walk this morning on the main dirt road that this Arizona trust land is located on, and besides taking a few pictures, I found a really nice boondocking spot that I had never noticed before. I think I would like to go there, but there's about 100 feet of rough road that I would have to go over, and I'm not sure if I want to subject my poor old truck to that, so I'm still boondocked where I have been, and I'm thinking I'll wait till tomorrow and see how I feel about moving in the morning.
I stopped at the local Safeway and bought some groceries on my way here, which was only three or four days ago. And I'm already getting kind of low on food. And it's not because I'm eating so much, I think it's because the food at Safeway is so expensive, I don't want to buy much of it, and for some reason I feel like buying 5 cans of something is saving money compared to buying 10 cans of something. But I'm not saving any money; I'm still eating 10 cans of something, I just have to go back to the grocery store more often.

I prefer walking in a dry wash when I go for a walk. It's a lot like walking on the beach, because you never know what you will find since the dry wash changes every time there's decent rain. This is the biggest dry wash in my area.
But sometimes I'll walk down a dirt road, which is not very interesting because everybody walks on dirt roads, so there's nothing new to see. If you look carefully, near the middle of the picture, you may see a white dot; it’s my teeny-tiny home.
