Something new for a change

Now that the Arctic Fox is gone from my family's driveway, and I'm down to one RV, which is the Lance truck camper that I'm living in, I feel it's a good time to change the way I live in the Summer.

In the winter, I move from place to place. Sometimes I'm somewhere for just one night, sometimes for several weeks, because I enjoy waking up to a new view and the picture-taking opportunities it provides. Not to mention how much I enjoy lacing up my traveling shoes and heading somewhere, anywhere, the grass is greener, the sun is shining, and the skies are blue.

As you've heard me say before, the Summer time is when I try to take care of most of the responsibilities I have, such as appointments, doctor visits, and things of that nature so I can enjoy my Winter ttravels unburdened by the problems, stress, and anxiety of everyday life, and that has worked pretty well for me. But times and people change, nothing ever stays the same, and we’re probably lucky it doesn't, or life would be rather boring.

But being an old geezer, I believe it gives me the right to speak for old geezers, and say it's especially hard for old geezers to change; in fact, we’re well known for being stuck in our old ways and refusing to even look at something new, much less do it. But sometimes it's good for us geezers to get pried out of our shells like an oyster and be forced to do something different, even though we whine and complain like it's the end of the world.

So you're probably wondering by now what this "new" thing I'm talking about is and how it will affect the life I'm living? But since this post is getting too long, you will have to wait till tomorrow to find out.

Theboondork..... Not just long-winded, but a master of turning one boring blog post into several boring blog posts.
