Quartzsite is famous for its flea markets

I walked around one of the flea markets in town today, searching for a few odds and ends. I also spoke with a few solar companies about portable solar panels, but none had what I needed. I'm waiting on a call from one business that said they should have what I need today or tomorrow, so hopefully that will solve my problems.

I found out from people at the solar companies that I will probably need another solar controller to connect the new portable panels. I thought I was just going to hook them up to my solar controller that I'm using now for my roof panels, but I found out I'm not supposed to do that when the panels are different, which in this case they will be, the solar system won't blow up or anything like that, they just wont put out as many amps as they should, and I need all the amps I can get.

I've put in a lot of solar panels in different RVs, but this is the first time that I've tried put different panels in the same RV, so it looks like I'll have to spend another hundred dollars or so for another solar controller so I'll wire the new panels from the panels, to the solar controller, and then to the batteries. A little more complicated, a few more hookups to be made, but it's doable.

I moved over to the Dome Rock area; it’s closer to the hills and mountains over here, and I think the sunsets are nicer.

Being closer to the mountains I think the views are better.
