Moving day

Today I moved. It wasn't a big move. I've been staying on Plumosa Road because the Plumosa Road boondocking area is closer to the Walmart in Parker, but I never managed to work up the ambition to go to Parker, so I'll try again next week. I moved closer to town because that's where the solar panel companies are, and hopefully, where I can find some solar panels to throw out in the yard and get as much or more electricity than I'm getting from my roof panels.

There's only one company I could find in Quartzsite that mostly sells various solar system components; the other companies sell a few things, but they mostly specialize in building a solar system for your camper. So if I can't find what I need in Quartzsite, my next move would be to order something from Amazon and have it sent to the post office in Quartzsite, general delivery.

I really need to do some laundry, but I always put it off, partially because I'm lazy, but mostly because it's so expensive that it bothers me to spend that much money to wash a few pairs of blue jeans. And it seems like every time I visit the laundromat in "Q", the washing machine tubs get smaller and smaller, so fewer and fewer clothes will fit in them, and they eat quarters like a Las Vegas slot machine. I think it will soon reach a point where it's cheaper to skip the laundromat and just go buy some new underwear at Walmart.

An odd sight! The foggy morning yesterday produced this futuristic pair of truck and trailer from Mars or some other nearby planet boondocking across the road from me. When I first saw this pair, I assumed that the trailer was made by Tesla, like the truck. However, upon researching it online, it appears that the trailer is actually made by Airstream and is called the "Basecamp." But you gotta admit they look like they were made for each other.

A typical cloudy day in Quartzsite…..Or Seattle, wherever I am.

On rare occasions, the clouds aren't thick enough to block a decent sunrise.
