My Video VA doctor's appointment just finished. And everyone who told me it was better than a regular doctor's appointment was right. It was easy to do. Didn't take long. And I wish that were the only way I ever needed to see a doctor.
She read my blood test results to me. And said that, other than my cholesterol being a little high, which was not a big worry, she was very happy with the results. She renewed my prescription for my blood thinner, so that's no longer a problem...And wished me happy travels
I think I'm going to leave on Saturday. I don't like traveling on the weekend. But it looks like the flooding in New Mexico won't be a problem then. And hopefully my travel will be back to normal. I was going to New Mexico first this winter because I wanted to see how low all the rivers and Reservoirs were. But with all the flooding, they're probably back to normal now, so there's really not much reason to go to New Mexico except that I want to check out this new place called Maxwell, which is in New Mexico. And hopefully it will be a replacement for Storrie Lake State Park, which I no longer want to go to.
I would also like to go to the Bosque del Apache to see if the number of sandhill cranes has improved since last year, and the tiny New Mexico town of San Antonio, closest to the Bosque, has free boondocking...But the Rio Grande runs right through it, so I'm not sure the town still exists.

The Sonoran Desert has more vegetation than I ever imagined.
Sunset at Wickenburg, Arizona.
Some kind of spiky desert plant you don't want to fall on.
