Such Is Life.
I did some work on the camper this morning. Basically the same kind of work I've been doing for the last few weeks: setting up two separate battery banks. Now, this job is not all that hard, but it's hard for me because I only work on it when I feel like it, and I don't feel like it very often.
Like I've said before, I've got a one-track mind and only do things when I'm interested in them! And in the summer I'm seldom interested in anything that requires I crawl around on my hands and knees under the table. In the wintertime, when I'm traveling, I'm all about my little Lance camper, keeping it running, and making it work better. But in the summertime, when I've got appointments and things I need to do, my teeny-tiny home and any needs it may have are pushed far back in my mind, very near the part of my brain where ideas go to die.
The problem is that summertime is when I have easy access to Amazon deliveries, so it's easy and cheap to get whatever do-it-yourself projects I may come up with. So I come up with these projects, but seldom have the desire to start them, much less finish them. I used to solve this conundrum by buying bits and pieces to complete these projects I come up with in the summer, and then actually working on the camper during the winter.
This worked out pretty well until I became so lazy, shiftless, and unmotivated that I seldom have the enthusiasm to accomplish much of anything, including things I used to enjoy..... Oh well, such is life.

If you look in the middle of this yellow rose, you can barely see a horrid Japanese beetle eating the rose's heart…. In a day or two, the rose will be dead.
Pink flowers.
Tiny, thumbnail-sized purple flowers.
