Where’s the boondork?
Well, it looks like I'll be heading out to Pete's tomorrow morning for a mostly undeserved mini-vacation, and I say that because I've hardly done anything that I've needed to do, but despite the fact that I've been skating through life I suddenly decided this morning that tomorrow sounds like a good day to go, so I threw everything together in the camper, gassed up the truck, and I reckon I'll be on the road tomorrow when the traffic dies down.
I don't know where I'll be the next time you hear from me. I might be spending the night at the Bass Pro Shop in Colorado Springs.... I love the Bass Pro Shop. I might be boondocking in the national forest somewhere, or I might be at Pete's already; one never knows, because I don't even tell myself where I'm going or when I might be there.... I like to surprise myself.
But wherever it is, I'm pretty sure it will be someplace I want to be, and I'll be happy that I'm there.
