Plum tuckered out.
Between getting up early yesterday morning for my VA audiologist appointment, grocery shopping, filling up the truck with diesel, helping babysit the kids during the day, and working on the camper, making cables and hooking up the batteries..... By last night, I was completely tuckered out, and I didn't get out of bed till almost 8 o'clock this morning; usually it's more like six.
I'm still considering going out to Pete's, but just not immediately. Even though I love cloudy weather because of the nice pictures it makes, and this area is badly in need of rain, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing; and the weather forecast for Pete's definitely looks like too much.
The weather guesstimators are calling for 10 straight days of very cloudy weather, with a good chance of rain every day. This looks to me like I would have trouble keeping my batteries charged, and depending on how much rain there is, the dirt roads can get pretty sketchy. Even though this would be an excellent opportunity to stress-test my battery's capabilities, I don't think I've got everything ready for stress testing just yet.
