Any kind of year at all.

Yet another relaxing Sunday, nothing going on, as well, there shouldn't be, since Sunday is a day of relaxation, and I'm putting off all of the things I should be doing without having to endure the guilt of the procrastination I feel when I lie around doing nothing on a weekday.

The weather is tolerable, with low 90s in the daytime and high 50s at night, and those low nighttime temperatures make sure the daytime 90s only last a couple of hours. And the rest of the time, things are pretty comfortable.

I'm thinking of moseying over to Chatfield State Park, a few miles away, sometime early next week and see what's going on over there. Normally, the water in Chatfield reservoir would be pretty high this time of year, and the main river flowing into the reservoir would be flowing fast enough to have numerous rapids due to the snow melt, but since the snow all melted over a month ago, I'm pretty sure there are no rapids, and the river and the lake probably look like it's late summer.

By the time I'm able to make it up to the High Country this year, I don't reckon I will be greeted by. any snow-capped peaks gleaming in the sunrise, but that's the way it is in Colorado; we have dry years, and we have wet years, but at my age, I'll be happy to have any kind of year at all.

It looks like this poor neighbor couldn't afford a four-car garage like the folks around them, and had to settle for a pitiful three-car garage……Nothing says "poverty" like only owning three cars..
