Internet is slow, pictures won’t go.
Life has been whizzing by for me the last couple of days, as I rush to get back to Denver before my oldest son gets there, possibly tomorrow. I've been in such a habit of driving no more than a few hundred miles during the day that now it's hard to change, even when I need to drive farther than that. So my last few days have been driving, driving, spending the night resting, waking up in the morning, and driving some more.
But I'll make it to Denver by Friday morning even though my son or I am not sure he'll be there by Friday, since he's trying to juggle time off from a new job as an equipment operator at the Peabody coal mine which is the biggest coal mine in the world, and home to some of the biggest mining equipment to be found anywhere, and towing my Arctic Fox back to Wyoming to live in.
I'll be returning to Denver a little earlier than I normally would, usually coming back between the middle of May and late May, and even then, snow in Colorado is still a possibility. But I'm doing what I normally do: working my way back from my winter travels to Denver, but this time, instead of spending three or four days at state parks in New Mexico somewhere, I'm spending one night. But I needed to get back a little early this year, I've got a lot of things going on this summer, and I needed more time to do them.
One thing I've done this winter that I never did before is, instead of taking endless flower pictures like I normally do when I have nothing else to take photos of, this winter I've taken extra images of the places I've been that I didn't put on my blog. So when I run out of Summer pictures to show, I can dig through my winter pictures of things I did and places I went that have never been seen before.
PS… sorry, there are no pictures today. My Internet connection is so slow at my current location that I can’t upload a picture, so I gave up trying.
