Why do cowboys go to church ?
Instead of going into town today, buying groceries, and running a few errands, I decided to take another walk this morning and go to town tomorrow. This fulfilled my need to procrastinate by putting off things I needed to do, and forced me to go for a walk to take some pictures, since my laziness had kept me from doing much of anything lately, including taking pictures.
I figure Sunday won't be very crowded in town, especially in the morning, because I believe that since this is a cowboy town, a lot of folks here go to church on a Sunday morning, and then go grocery shopping after Sunday service. So as long as I can get my shopping done and get out of town by lunch, it shouldn't be too crowded.
So why do cowboys go to church? I think, and I'm just guessing here, that the real cowboys I've known have a lot to be forgiven for, mostly starting right after payday on Friday afternoon. So by the time Sunday rolls around, it takes a lot of preaching to get your average cowboy anywhere near the pearly gates.

A tall, straight Saguaro watches over its patch of desert. Its very presence ensuring me that I will be protected from the cold.
This is an overview of the Arizona Trust Lands boondocking area I'm staying at. It's far bigger than you can see here, with dirt roads and jeep trails running in every direction, offering plenty of opportunities to boondock. Off by yourself, or in a group surrounded by others. It's your choice.
My teeny-tiny home is the little white spot in the middle of the bush on the left.
