The camper is a terrible mess

Now I'm not the neatest person in the world, but I try not to let things get totally out of hand. However, my camper is a terrible mess right now.

Between my procrastination, lackadaisical attitude towards cleaning, and eye problems causing me to see double, which makes the inside of the camper look twice as bad, things really have gotten out of hand, and one of these days I'm going to have to stay focused, take the tiger by the tail, sort things out, and make it happen, and several other mindless colloquialisms that I won't use, but will put off until the last minute if I do manage to accomplish something.

It helps me to get things like that done if I've got a good reason to do them. Normally, being only a month or so from my winter travels, that would give me an incentive to buckle down and start straightening this place up, but unfortunately, at the moment, my one-track mind is in charge, and that track is only concerned with my eyes.

But I'm thinking that my eyes will consume my thoughts until I get my one-week cataract checkup out of the way for my other eye, which should be around the end of September. And then during October I believe all I have is two VA doctor appointments, that are basically checkups, so the month of October should go by pretty quick, which will allow me to get my mind on travel, which is where it belongs, because when I think about traveling I think about getting the camper ready to go, and getting it ready to go involves cleaning it..... And like I just said, it's a terrible mess.

Theboondork...... my futures so bright, I gotta wear shades.

The exceedingly rare Diamond Duck. I'm not at liberty to divulge the location of this extraordinary duck, because his very life depends on his anonymity. You've probably heard of the goose that lays the golden eggs; well, this is the duck that gives diamond showers. For reasons known only to a few world-renowned bird experts like myself, every once in a great while, this duck will give himself a shake, and in doing so, numerous perfect diamonds of various sizes will be dislodged from his feathers and be flung hither and yon around the immediate area. I feel very fortunate to have captured an image of this very rare duck and its extraordinary talent of producing diamonds large enough to make any bride blush.
