With camera in hand, and a boondocking plan

Yesterday was cloudy and rainy, with high temperatures in the mid-50s. So the temperature definitely made it feel like Fall. One way I can tell it's Fall is that the temperatures vary widely from one day to the next. The highs for the day can range from the 50s one day to the 80s the next, and a couple of days later, it's in the 60s. That's very typical for Fall around here.

Nothing is happening in my life at the moment; I'm just taking it easy and recuperating. Since it was warmer today and the sun was out, I walked around the block in the neighborhood and took a few pictures. There are some Halloween decorations up already, and many of the trees have changed color. With an early morning nip in the air, I was wearing a jacket, which definitely signaled the beginning of Fall.

There are only three weeks left in October, and I have at least three doctor appointments ahead, all of which are just checkups. The problem is that instead of the appointments being all crammed together, they are spread out over the whole month, which limits my opportunities for traveling this month.

But I suppose that's what getting old is all about - aches and pains, and endless visits to the doctor. But hopefully, when my winter travels begin, all that will be behind me, and with a camera in hand and a boondocking plan, I can spend six months concentrating on enjoying my life on the road.
