Not much going on

It's been pretty quiet around here. I work on the Arctic Fox every once in a while, since I'm back to getting it ready to sell again. There are a few odds and ends that I need to fix up, but the only serious thing wrong with it is that it needs new brakes, and those should be fixed by early June when the RV mobile mechanic gets here.

The Lance camper has held up well during its winter travels. There's really not much I need to do to it except give it a good cleaning. Although there seemed to be a lot of rain in the areas where I was, I didn't have any problems with water intrusion anywhere in the camper.

I do miss the double-pane windows in the Arctic Fox. They not only kept the camper warmer but also quieter inside. But the little Lance camper didn't cost very much, so you can't expect things like double-pane windows. But I do have that Reflectix insulation I put over the windows if it's going to be cold, and that helps keep the heat in during the Winter and heat out during the Summer.

Y'all may remember that I moved the Lance’s propane tank from its head-high outside storage cubby down to a lower outside storage area where it's much easier to change tanks when one goes empty. That made my life a lot easier, but I need a better way to secure the propane tank in the cubby. I'm using a small Jack-strap at the moment, but it's difficult to deal with, and I need a better solution.

Theboondork.... Why put off something till tomorrow, when you can put it off till next Fall?

A small part of the snow goose flock that spends the winter at the Bosque Del Apache. The official announcement at the visitor center says that the snow goose flock at the Bosque numbers around 20,000.

Since I didn’t fly down to the Bosque Del Apache overnight to take this picture, one can assume that I still don’t have any new images to show, and one would be correct in that assumption. And I’m only showing one picture a day because I’m afraid that at the rate I’m going, I’ll run out of unseen photos before the end of the month.

Some of my readers might attribute my situation to laziness, procrastination, and lack of ambition, but I can assure those of you who feel that way, that without a shadow of a doubt you’re absolutely right.
