I've got plenty of time to think.

The 10-day weather forecast looks partly cloudy, but not enough to affect my solar panels' charging ability, and temperatures are in the 70s and 80s, so I definitely can't complain about a February that starts like that.

Since I don't have much to do where I'm at, I have plenty of time to think about what I'm going to do when I get back to Colorado in the Spring. And here are a few things I've come up with.....

One... I need to make an appointment with the VA to get my hearing checked. I've made and canceled two appointments already, mostly because my cataract operations got in the way last year, but this coming Summer, I need to get that done. My Air Force job required working on the flight-line, around running aircraft, mostly C-141s and C-130s. And for those flight-line jobs, the VA doesn't even require proof of hearing damage. Your job description alone says your hearing is damaged, so the VA just throws a couple of hearing aids at you and calls it a day.

Two... I need to sell the items in my storage room. As I mentioned in my blog, most of the items in my storage room have monetary value and need to be sold on eBay. But I've done the eBay thing before, when I put my house up for sale, and even though I made money, I hated it. I need to sell the stuff, but I'm handicapped by extreme laziness and terminal procrastination.

Three... Instead of taking mini-vacations during the summer while living in my family's driveway, I would like to turn that around and live in the mountains while visiting the family. That concept was actually my original plan for how I was going to live my full-time life. My family was living in an apartment in downtown Denver, and there being no way I could live there, I figured I would visit them during the Summer and live on BLM land in the mountains. But they bought a house before I ever had a chance to implement that plan, so I ended up living in my RV in their driveway and visiting the mountains.

As you can see, I've got a lot to think about, but I'm not worried because things will work out somehow; they always do.

This part of the Arizona Trust Lands I'm at is surrounded by low-lying hills, which keep it somewhat isolated from folks who don't know it's here.

In the middle of those hills is a large flat area that's easy for larger RVs to access and boondock in. But if you want to avoid a crowd like you see here, just park a little closer to the hills, and you can have all the privacy you want.
