A lesson learned in Quartzsite.

The 10-day weather forecast is calling for some cloudy weather next week, which hopefully will give me a chance to put out my portable solar panels and see how well they work. It seems like ever since I got the new solar panels, the weather has been great with very few clouds..... It certainly sounds like a strange thing to complain about. Even though there are supposed to be several days of cloudy weather, the chance of rain is minimal; after all, it is a desert, so rain shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know how long I'm going to be here in Wickenburg, right now I'm waiting on some General Delivery mail to the local post office, which I expect to get early next week.

I've always had good luck with getting General Delivery mail, which is kind of amazing when you consider it's the post office. In fact, the only time I've had any problems getting General Delivery was years ago in Quartzsite during the Big Show. The post office had fairly short hours available for when you could pick up General Delivery mail, and there was always a huge crowd waiting for their mail. I don't remember if it was a Quartzsite problem or a Big Show problem, but whatever it was, I vowed then and there to never have General Delivery sent to Q again.
