I finally get to the point
So, what is his new thing I'm going on and on about? Well, it's like this. For various reasons, I’m planning to return to my original plans for living in Colorado during the Summer, which are similar to how I live during the Winter. It was laziness and procrastination on my part that led me to live the way I do, and it will take some hard work and more than a little effort to get me motivated to be more like the traveling man I am during the Winter.
It's hot in Denver during the Summer, but the mountains are cool during the daytime and chilly at night, which is the kind of temperature I love. And I can get to those temperatures after an hour or so of driving. Those cool temperatures make it easier for me to talk myself into going places and doing things, rather than becoming a couch potato who can't afford a couch.
Now, all is not unicorns and puppies with what I'm planning on doing, because Summer is not the freewheeling, serendipitous, schedule-free times that I'm fortunate to have during the winter. I've got doctor visits, business matters, and everyday life responsibilities that get in the way of an unorganized procrastinator like myself, so it's going to take some time to see how all this will work.
But since the Arctic Fox has found a new home, this seemed like the perfect time to give it a try to see if I can balance boondocking in the mountains with my responsibilities, various VA appointments, and still live the kind of life I enjoy.
