I think my life has become boring

When I woke up this morning just after sunrise, there was a beautiful fog hanging around the mountains. We don't get a lot of fog in Colorado; I think the air is too dry for that weather phenomenon. By 9 o'clock, it was largely gone, but I did get to enjoy it and take a few pictures of a sight I seldom see.

But other than that, I go for a walk, and relax, and that seems to be what I'm doing every day. That doesn't sound like a very exciting or even slightly interesting life, but other than interacting with my family and the grandkids, that seems to be basically what I do, living in my family's driveway. And other than interacting with the family, that's pretty much the way I live during my winter travels. Yes, I'll occasionally visit an interesting place, or maybe I'll stay at one like the Bosque Del Apache in New Mexico or Whitewater Draw in Arizona, or Tombstone Arizona. However, I'm still doing the same things I do at Pete's, like going for walks and relaxing.

So, I guess if I look at it a certain way, I really don't do anything exciting or interesting. My life is just like any other soon-to-be 79-year-old man, except my house has wheels and I can get a different view out of my living room windows whenever I feel like it. And I realize most people would hate that, much preferring to keep everything the same as much as possible, but for some reason, I not only enjoy a new view, I also love the freedom to find that new view whenever I desire.
