How dry am I?

Growing tired of talking about my eyes every day, and since it rained all night, I'll change the subject and talk about something else, like the weather.

Late afternoons in the Denver area have been clouding up and raining almost every day for the last 10 days or so, not heavy rains, but just enough rain to thoroughly wet everything. But it’s not the rain I'm interested in; it's the Lance camper and how it's doing in the rain, and it’s doing very well.

As you may recall, last year I installed a new vent fan in the roof of the Lance, and whenever you have a hole in the ceiling, leakage is always a concern. I'm pleased to report that, despite not using typical sealants such as self-leveling caulk and relying solely on EternaBond tape to prevent water intrusion, there has been no water leakage in or around the new vent fan.

In fact, I've never found a leak anywhere in the Lance camper, and since it's a 2013 model, I would've thought I should’ve had to fix a leak or two in the roof, around a window or door, in all the rainy weather I've been in, and yet the Lance remains dry as a bone. That could be luck, or it could be that Lance builds a pretty good truck camper.
