An unbelievably quick sale
I received a response to my ad on Craigslist last night, and this morning, some very nice folks came to look at the Arctic Fox and decided they would buy it. Some cash changed hands, but the deal won't be completed until early next week. I was very impressed with these folks and the future life they've chosen for themselves, and feel that the Arctic Fox has found a new happy home. And I hope the Arctic Fox treats these fine Christian folks as well as it did me for all those years.
I have an appointment at the emissions inspection station for my truck on Tuesday, and I hope that no expensive problems will be found that will delay my new registration sticker. But with over 200,000 miles on my diesel engine, the odds of continuing not to offend the government emissions inspectors in any way become less and less in my favor.
With the quick sale of the Arctic Fox and my emissions inspection for the truck occurring early next week, I believe that leaves my calendar open for an unexpected opportunity to take another mini-vacation. Sometimes I'm amazed at how a dead end in life can turn into a beautiful opportunity..... If you look at life as full of opportunities, instead of dead ends.

Of course, at my age, a rocking chair makes perfect sense.
