Wickenburg, Arizona, my new home. ~ 2 comments.

I left for Wickenburg, Arizona, this morning at about 8 o'clock. Normally, I wouldn't go that early because I'm driving east, and the sun would be in my eyes, but it was cloudy enough that it wasn't a problem. I stopped at Safeway on the way to one of the Arizona trust lands boondocking areas and bought a few groceries. I know it seems like I'm always stopping somewhere for groceries, and it's not that I enjoy shopping that much; it's just that my refrigerator is pretty small, and so are my food storage areas.

I got to one of the Arizona trust lands, just a few miles outside of Wickenburg, that I've stayed at before, and in no time at all, turned a hilly and rocky piece of desert into a temporary home.

I didn't put out my ground solar panels since it was a blue sky and sunny all day, although tomorrow it's supposed to cloud up and the high temperatures drop into the mid-60s for the next three or four days, so I may have to deploy my new solar panels and get a better idea about how they're going to work.

My new temporary home is on Arizona trust lands, about 3 miles from Wickenburg. It's nice to have a lot of empty space around me after all that time in Quartzsite, surrounded by fellow boondockers.

It's still autumn in the Arizona desert.

The town of Quartzsite last night, as the sun was going down.
