A comment from Barney
I received this comment from Barney, the Old Fat Man, this morning, and since I figured some people might not read my comment section, I decided to make my response into a blog post for the day. The fact that I’m lazy also factored into that decision.
Well, howdy do, Barney. It's great to hear from you again. I'm reading your blog and keeping up with what you're doing, and I hope to see some pictures one of these days.
I guess all of us old geezers think about having to give up our car keys sooner or later. I think it's difficult for all of us, because the freedom to come and go whenever we want to is the most basic of freedoms, especially for old geezers like you and me that live by our wits, as full-timers. I'm glad to hear that you're finding other things to do in your new life, such as teaching others how to create art.
We all need a purpose in life, Barney, and maybe your purpose is teaching, or even sharing your lifetime of RV adventures with those around you; you certainly have plenty to share.
So keep writing your blog, Barney; all your readers are still out here, and we’re still keeping up with your adventures, even though you're close to home.
