A busy day today
The individuals who purchased the Arctic Fox arrived this morning, and the first thing we did was attend to the paperwork. Cash exchanged hands, the title and bill of sale were signed, and the Arctic Fox now officially belongs to a new family.
I helped them install the new hitch he bought for the Arctic Fox.... I use the term helped, because it sounds better than "stood by and watched," which is a more accurate description of what I did.
He bought an Andersen hitch, just like I had, but it was better. Andersen has improved their hitch since the one I bought five or six years ago. They look a lot nicer and a lot stronger than my original hitch. And unlike a regular fifth-wheel hitch, it's much lighter and can be easily installed by almost anyone with minimal knowledge and tools, rather than having to pay someone to do it.
The hitch was installed, and it appears to be working, despite my assistance. All the lights came on as they should when the camper was plugged into the truck, which is always a good sign.
A lot of time was spent explaining the inner workings of the Arctic Fox. It took a lot of explaining on my part since I don’t remember some of the things I did or why I did them.
The plan now is for the buyers to return on Thursday and tow the Arctic Fox to a storage lot, where it will reside until the buyers have determined what they want to do next, which may involve relocating to Arizona.

The Cripple Creek Museum was once a train station.
Boondocking at the Bass Pro Shop.
This used to be one of my neighbors in Cripple Creek, and this building was an antique store.
