Gods country.
A bit of rain was predicted for today, but when it came, it didn't even wet the ground, much less quench the thirst of the rapidly yellowing grass in the yard. And just to remind us that it's summer, the 10-day forecast is all in the high 90s, and even at night, it's going to be in the mid-60s, which I consider a little too warm for comfortable sleeping.
That kind of weather certainly makes me want to head for the high country, but I'm still working on the camper and other things that are keeping me close to home. But maybe later this month, I can find a way to eke out a mini-vacation to God's country, or at least get close enough to see it.
