Time is slipping by.

After spending the morning shopping for groceries and going to McDonald's for lunch, I paid $10 and spent the night at the rodeo arena boondocking area in Wickenburg, taking pictures of the rain clouds, and relaxing from the morning shopping.

One thing I have figured out is that I've got a couple of bills to pay, and I need to deposit some money into my bank account to pay those bills, and the nearest Wells Fargo Bank is near Phoenix. So it looks like I'll be heading for the Phoenix area at the end of the month, where I can make that deposit and go to a nearby Walmart for groceries, and instead of coming back to Wickenburg, I will probably just start slowly heading back towards Colorado. I usually figure on being back in Colorado mid-to-late May, so if I leave here the end of April, I should be back in the Denver area by the middle of May.

I can't believe my winter travels are almost over; it seems like those six months have flown by, and every day is flying by for me. I guess that's part of getting old. When you're young and going to school and then working for a living, the days seem to drag by, but as you get old, the days slip by faster and faster until they're just a blur you can barely remember. I suppose that's a sign you're enjoying your life when the days fly by, I don't know if that's true or not but I do know that I sure wouldn't want to be back in school watching that classroom clock tick off minutes like hours, or be at a job where clocks feel like they stop working when you walk in the door.... But I guess that's life, and I sure am enjoying the one I'm living now instead of the boring classrooms and the mind-numbing jobs.

Boondocking at the rodeo grounds, Boondocking Park, there were only two other RVs boondocking besides me. And on my second day, there was no one there except me.

Since it was cloudy, I was able to get some interesting pictures.

I'm always amazed at the Saguaro cactus and its ability to withstand damage and still survive. This one lost its head yet was able to bypass the severely damaged area and grow new arms in a different direction.
