I had planned to write about my opinions on exercise while at Pete's, but it would take until Labor Day using my hunting-and-pecking method, where I do far more hunting than pecking. So I'm postponing that plan until I get a new headset
Spending a lot of time trying to fix my non-functioning headset has also put me behind with my battery bank wiring project. I've been here almost three days and haven't touched a wire yet.
I'm running on my new 320 amp Dodo battery that's charged by the 500 watts of roof-mounted solar panels, and even though there's been a lot of clouds, I haven't had to put out my portable panels yet, although I plan on doing so for testing purposes before I leave Pete's.

8:00 in the morning, and the mountain mist has almost concealed the rising sun.
The sun is setting over the high country in the background. By now, the temperature is in the 60s, and a light jacket is required for us old Geezers.
I don’t know what’s going on here. When I got here on Sunday, there were 50 or more vehicles parked here, but most have gone now.
Has this 40-acre site been turned into a boondocking campground? I don’t like that. Since my property is the easiest way to get to the national forest, I’ve had trespassing problems before.
My 25-yard target. Sometimes, when I was shooting at my shooting bench, I would look at those mountains and couldn’t believe how lucky I was just to be here.
When I’m not shooting, I sometimes like to boondock in an open area like this, where I can get different pictures than at the foot of the mountains….. and I get more sun for my solar panels, without shade from the mountains.
