The key to successful travel is procrastination.

I think I've decided to leave here and head south on Monday morning. I believe I've tied up all the loose ends around here. That will allow me to leave then, but I've been wrong before.

As for where I'm going, so far, I don't have enough information to make a decision on that because of the flooding and the damage to some of the towns I go to, so I think what I'm going to do is not worry about it until I get to Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is where I will then have to make a decision to turn right onto Interstate 40 and head for Arizona. Or continue going south on I-25 deeper into New Mexico. By then, I may have enough information to decide which direction to go. And making a decision like that fits the travel motto that I just made up, which says…When in doubt, don't figure it out; put it off till time runs out. Procrastination is what it's about; you may be surprised how it all turns out."

My grandson had another basketball game this afternoon, and just like last time, the other team was beaten by the first quarter. Basketball is a tough game, and that's my grandson, under the net, with someone’s hand in his face.
