It's cold in Flag.
A cold front came through Flagstaff last night, bringing high winds and nighttime temperatures in the 20s, some rain and sleet, but no snow. That's just the way Flagstaff is in the Spring and in the Fall, you never know if it's going to be 80° or snowing, and as I said before, that's why I didn't spend much time here in the past. I had figured I'd be leaving Flag this morning, but I’ve delayed it for a few days to let things settle down and warm up a bit.
As I mentioned before, I want to go to the Petrified Forest National Park near Holbrook, Arizona, when I leave here, and it looks like Wednesday and Thursday there will be some cloudy weather at the Petrified Forest National Park, and I much prefer taking pictures when it's cloudy, so I'll probably wait until then.
At the west entrance to the park, there are two big tourist-trap gift shops, and I've stayed in their parking lot overnight a couple of times before, along with a few other RVs, without any problems, so that's probably where I'll stay when I get to Holbrook.
After Holbrook, I don't know where I'll go because I'll be in New Mexico the next day, and my options there are pretty limited nowadays. There are some Walmarts I can stay at overnight, but I've got to kill more time than that before I get back to the cold Spring weather in Colorado.
