Wheels are an important part of my life

I’ve finished working on the propane system in the Arctic Fox, and it now features a new regulator and all-new hoses. I also redesigned the propane tank storage area to accommodate both the regular 20-pound propane tanks and the taller 40-pound tanks that I had used in the past.

Now I'm down to my last major project, which is repairing the sun-damaged awning, and I plan to start that tomorrow. My timing isn't ideal, as tomorrow it's supposed to hit 100°, and the next two days will be in the high 90s. This means I’d better get some awning work done very early in the morning, or it’s going to get too hot to work outside in the sun. However, since the humidity is predicted to be in the single digits, it will be quite hot in the sun, but perfectly comfortable in the shade. Have I mentioned how much I love low humidity?

Yes, I love me some low humidity! Low humidity is really what makes my current boondocking life tolerable without air conditioning. Low humidity in Colorado during the summer means hot days don't feel as hot. And low humidity in the desert during the winter, so chilly weather doesn't feel so cold. It's as close as I can get to great weather all year long. But it doesn't happen without some effort on my part. And in my case, I need wheels and the determination to use them.
