A brief post

Well, finally, the holidays are over, I survived, and now things can get back to normal. The neighborhood boats can be backed into neighbors’ garages and carports, and the neighborhood RVs will be carefully backed in beside the house so everything will look normal to me when I walk around the neighborhood.

It's been cloudy and rainy during the holidays, and it wouldn't surprise me if they got some snow in the high country. The next five or six days are also predicted to be cloudy with a small chance of rain, which is good for the Spring flowers, so I can't complain.

Today was spent removing more items from the Arctic Fox, preparing it for sale. I sure will be glad when it's out of my daughter's driveway and living with someone who will give it all the care and love that it needs.

This innocent-looking flower is called a Biting Begonia. It is a cross-pollinated Venus Fly Trap and Woolly Caterpillar. A crawls slowly on the ground and will eat anything that gets in its way….. Has anyone seen the grandkids lately?

This daring individual has mounted a lawn chair on their paddleboard and turned their paddleboard into a fine fishing machine. I'm sure the twin paddles will make it easy for this intrepid fisherman to quickly reach trolling speed.
