The older I get, the harder it is to find a temperature range where I'm relatively comfortable. When I was a young man, I was fairly comfortable anywhere between 65 and 85°. During a very brief period of middle age, my comfort level was somewhere around 70 to 80°. But now that I've stumbled into the decrepitude of geezer-hood, my temperature comfort level is somewhere between 82.5 and 82.7°.
Now, the blood thinners I'm taking certainly don't help at all, as they make me pretty chilly if the temperature dips into the mid-70s. This means that Colorado winters would be very tough on me if I were to have to endure them.
And speaking of blood thinners, I no longer have any symptoms of blood clots, and haven't for a long time; my VA doctor says that since no one knows why I got blood clots, since I'm fairly healthy, the safest thing to do is continue to take the blood thinner for the rest of my life to be on the safe side. The doctor has seen no long-term problems with taking blood thinners, especially since it's the only medication I take, so there's no chance of an interaction problem.
As we all know, an unmistakable sign of becoming an old geezer is when someone starts randomly discussing their health problems and their recent doctor visits. I prefer not to do that, so please disregard this entire blog post.

An interesting product display at Bass Pro Shop, it looks like it was taken out of my grandmother’s kitchen. So at the Bass Pro Shop, you can see extreme fishing tackle, and your grandmother’s kitchen.
The midnight rose. This is a three-city lot gaming property. I sold the two lots on the right side of the Midnight Rose to Rick Holland, a major Wendy’s restaurant owner, and my previous neighbor sold the lot on the left side to Rick.
Rick has since expanded his holdings and now owns most of that entire block.
