Civilization again. ~ 2 comments.
Today was kind of windy, mostly cloudy, and only got up into the high 60s, so not a very good day weather-wise. To keep my solar panels from blowing over, like they did the other day, I put rocks on their feet to hold them down, and it worked pretty good. But that won't work everywhere since some places don't have big rocks to put on the solar panels' feet. And I'm certainly not going to carry big rocks around with me, so I need a much better solution.
I figure I'll stay here in Congress a little while longer and then mosey on down the road to some Arizona trust lands near Ben Avery gun range, so I can boondock for free and watch the cowboy "End of Trail" championship shoot at Ben Avery near the end of this month.
It will be good to get near shopping again. The Arizona trust lands I stay at are less than five miles from restaurants and large grocery stores like Walmart and Albertson's. There are also plenty of restaurants within 10 or 15 minutes, and a Home Depot even closer. So getting near the Phoenix area is kind of like coming out of the desert and into civilization again.

Things that make me happy every day, like this Palo Verde tree in my yard.........
The mountains that surround me.......
The desert sunsets........
And most of all, my teeny tiny home, that keeps me warm in the winter, somewhat cool in the summer, and happy wherever I go.
