Today became tomorrow.
Searching for more reasons to stay home instead of going into town, the urge hit me this morning to clean the camper rather than do the shopping that I really need to get done.
It seems the longer the camper stays in one place, the messier it gets inside. Since the camper follows me wherever I go, before I go anyplace, the camper has to be straightened up and stuff put away so things don't end up on the floor. And by doing that, the camper automatically stays in pretty good condition for travel. But after living in the camper for a while without moving, normal things for living a normal life tend to spread out, get out of place, and cover every empty flat area of the interior.
That shouldn't happen because it takes very little effort to put things away after I use them, which is what I do when I'm traveling every few days. But when I settle down for a while with no plan of moving anytime soon, my laziness takes over, and in no time at all, the interior of the camper becomes such a cluttered mess that procrastination takes over my brain and insists that I will straighten it all up tomorrow. So it looks like today became the tomorrow where I really do have to straighten things up.

There was a beautiful, full, golden moon the other night.
One of my boondocking neighbors. He pulled in yesterday afternoon, and it must have taken him an hour to set all this up. And then by morning, he was gone. Seems like a lot of trouble for an overnight stay.
I went for a walk in a dry wash as the sun was coming up. It's a more interesting walk early in the morning because you never know what kind or size of critter you might run into. Maybe a tiny lizard, or a grumpy Bull.….. You just never know. But like they say, ‘‘without challenge, there is no adventure.’’
